Trinity Takes To The Streets (TTTTS) – Gears Up

Posted on: 24 September 2009

With the start of the new term, the ‘Trinity Takes To The Streets’ runners are lacing up their trainers, flexing their hamstrings and gearing up for the marathon challenge.   Trinity College Dublin students, alumni, staff and friends are taking part in this Saturday’s Half Marathon and in the Dublin City Marathon on October 26th next to raise vital funding for the Trinity Access Programmes (TAP), National Institute for Intellectual Disability (NIID) and the Student Hardship Fund.  Fifty runners will be taking the TTTTS challenge by running (or walking) to support the initiatives – many others have come on board as helpers and supporters.   If you would like to get involved in supporting TTTTS and Trinity’s educational access initiatives you can sponsor a runner, make a donation or take part in one of the TTTTS events taking place in October  –   TTTTS Table Quiz, a ‘TAP Laughs’ Comedy Night and a ‘Trinity Takes To The Treadmills’ fun event.  For further information, news and details of events,  see the TTTTS website – www.trinitytakestothestreets.ie.
