Trinity Hosts Irish and German Finance Ministers Debate on European Financial Policy

Trinity College Dublin marked the joint visit of the German Federal Minister of Finance, Wolfgang Schäuble and the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan, TD to the college with a special moderated discussion on European Financial Policy on October 31st last.
Speaking on the topic ‘Financial Policy for Growth and Stability in Europe’, the discussion in the Trinity Long Room Hub was chaired by Sean Whelan, RTE. Minister Schäuble called for stronger political and banking union in Europe in the course of discussion. A Questions and Answer session followed.
