Trinity College’s Careers Advisory Service’s Award Winning Website

Trinity College’s Careers Advisory Service’s (CAS) website recently won an Award for Excellence, sponsored by the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU) and the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) in the UK. The TCD Careers Advisory Service’s (CAS) website was awarded second prize out of a total of 132 third level careers services in the UK and Ireland. The award which rewards innovation and a user-friendly approach to website development was evaluated on good design and ease of navigation; links to high quality resources; use of original material and imaginative marketing and regular evaluation. The careers websites were evaluated on these criteria by the AGCAS President along with students and senior members of HECSU staff.

Trinity College’s CAS website was developed by the Careers Advisory Service in collaboration with the company, Communicraft, TCD’s Web Office and Information Systems Services. Orlaith Tunney and Jackie Pryor of the College’s Careers Advisory Service headed up the web project and all CAS staff contribute towards the content and continuous updating of the site.
