Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences Awards for TCD Researchers

Trinity College Dublin researchers have been successful in the 2009/10 scholarship and award competitions from the Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences (IRCHSS) which were announced last week.

IRCHSS awarded Trinity researchers 29 out of 136 Postgraduate Research Scholarship awards for 2009/10. These scholarships are granted to students undertaking post-graduate research degrees at third-level institutions in Ireland.

TCD researchers also won nine of the 25 IRCHSS Postdoctoral Fellowships and two of the 17 IRCHSS Senior Research Fellowship Project Grants.
