Áine Griffin appointed as new Director of Trinity Communications

A highly experienced communications professional, Áine has held senior positions across strategic communications, media relations, outreach and engagement, and internal communications in the public service.
Áine Griffin has been appointed as the new Director of Trinity Communications at Trinity College Dublin. Áine, who started her role in July, is responsible for Trinity’s long-term strategic communications objectives, the creation and delivery of Trinity’s Public Affairs Strategy, as well as leading Trinity’s Communications team in supporting the College community.
A highly experienced communications professional, Áine has held senior positions across strategic communications, media relations, outreach and engagement, and internal communications in the public service.
Áine's most recent role was Head of Communications in the Department of Justice. Prior roles include Head of Communications for the Commission on Taxation and Welfare, Head of Communications for Project Ireland 2040, Head of Outreach at the Central Bank of Ireland, Head of Communications at the Data Protection Commission and Press Officer at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
