Posted on: 19 May 2023
Trinity researchers will be among the scientists bringing their research to pubs across the country new week as part of the international Pint of Science festival.
A total of 21 free events will be held across the country from May 22nd to 24th, along with hundreds of events across 26 countries worldwide. The festival offers a chance for everyone from any background to meet the people responsible for the future of science – and to have a drink with them.
Kevin Mercurio, PhD researcher in Microbiology at Trinity, is Co-Director of the festival this year. He said:
“A huge thanks goes out to our volunteers and speakers across Ireland, as well as our sponsors, working tirelessly to put this year’s festival together. It always amazes me how much there is a yearning for science communication outside of academic institutes. Hope to see you all in the pub!”
