Posted on: 10 November 2023
The launch of The Essence of Student Life exhibition takes place Monday November 13 2023 6-8 pm. To celebrate 30 years of Trinity Access Programmes (TAP), works by 19 contemporary artists on the theme of student life are going on display in Trinity's Exam Hall.
The exhibition will also run daily from November 14 to 17 in the Exam Hall with artist walkthrough sessions and other activities happening daily.
Wendy Crampton, Director of TAP, said: "This exhibition is dedicated to all TAP students who, over the past 30 years, have made our university a more diverse and richer place. Through art, we aim to celebrate the journey of students from all walks of life. This exhibition not only showcases the talent of the artists, but it also highlights the essence of student life. It showcases our diverse community on campus through exceptional contemporary art.‘’
All pieces are available to buy to raise funds for TAP (at least 50% of proceeds go to TAP).
Art can be viewed online through De Veres Art and Auction House (whose fees have been kindly waived).
