Nominate an Honorary Degree Recipient
Posted on: 25 September 2023
Trinity College Dublin invites its students, staff, alumni and members of the public to make nominations for honorary degree recipients.
Trinity annually awards honorary degrees to people who have made an exceptional contribution in their field. The recipient of an honorary degree is someone who stands out as being genuinely exceptional and as having had an extraordinary impact for what they have done.
Nominations can be submitted at any time, but the Advisory Committee on Honorary Degrees would be grateful to receive nominations this side of Christmas.
Honorary Degrees are awarded to individuals of integrity, character, judgment, and exceptional achievement. Conferring of an honorary degree acknowledges an outstanding contribution to scholarship, society, culture and society. A full list of Trinity’s previous esteemed honorary degree recipients is available on the Honorary Degrees website.
Full information on the nomination process, including Criteria for the Award of Honorary Degrees and the nomination form can be found on the Honorary Degrees website.
