Programme Structure
The Full-time MBA is delivered primarily on campus over three academic terms:
- Terms 1 & 2: Students complete a comprehensive suite of nine core modules, combining academic learning with practical, real-world experience through the Strategic Company Project.
- Term 3: Students tailor their experience by selecting from a range of elective modules and project-based learning opportunities.
Core Curriculum

Michaelmas Term (September - December)
Your MBA journey begins with a unique, immersive Induction Week. You’ll kick off your leadership and career development, build lasting bonds with classmates, and take part in core team-building activities. This is a compulsory part of the programme.
Every strategy depends on an organisation capable of delivering it. This module traces the evolution of management and organisation design from the industrial era to contemporary forms, enabling participants to understand how structures, relationships and management practices shape organisational performance.
Historical insight is combined with practical diagnosis of current organisations, including the emerging implications of generative and agentic AI for organisation design. The module provides an important foundation for the Company Analysis stage of the Strategic Company Project.

Every manager makes decisions that depend on reliable financial information. This module develops the financial literacy needed to understand how organisations create value, measure performance and identify risks and opportunities with prudence and integrity.
Designed for participants with limited or no prior accounting experience, the module connects financial accounting, management accounting and accountability. It builds the confidence to interpret financial statements, use budgets and ratios, and communicate the financial implications of operational and strategic choices.

The module covers investment appraisal, risk and return, portfolio theory, stock market investing, corporate risk and value creation. Lectures, debate, cases and practice questions build the analytical confidence required to evaluate investments and understand how financial choices support long-term organisational value.

The module combines current research, strategic frameworks, cases and a team marketing plan. It also examines how artificial intelligence is changing marketing practice and how organisations can make responsible marketing decisions across B2C and B2B settings.

Through cases, applied analysis, Excel-based exercises and industry engagement, participants explore resilient and sustainable operations, adaptive planning, digital technologies and circular economy principles. The experience follows a practical three-stage journey: Explore, Prepare, and Take Action. Interactive workshops, personalised career meetings, alumni engagement and applied tasks support informed decision-making, effective job-search strategy and the pursuit of a positive, sustainable career.

Working in multidisciplinary teams, participants partner with a host organisation to address a strategically significant business challenge. The project progresses through four connected stages: industry and competitor analysis, company analysis and issue identification, strategic issue analysis, and the development of a blueprint for change. Participants integrate knowledge and frameworks from across the MBA to produce evidence-based recommendations and a practical implementation plan for a complex, real-world setting.
As the capstone of the Trinity MBA, the project combines action learning with support from an academic tutor, a professional team coach and applied workshops spanning business analytics and AI, sustainability, financial analysis, digital transformation, innovation and change management. The experience strengthens strategic consulting capability while developing self-awareness, ethical judgement, cultural fluency, communication and leadership through teamwork and critical reflection.

Rapid growth demands smart funding. This module helps you evaluate how early-stage and scaling companies secure capital, balance control and drive investor confidence. Using case-based learning, you will explore real financing dilemmas and develop the judgement to choose the right investment vehicles at the right time. It takes a practical look at financing strategy from both investor and entrepreneur perspectives.
It will strengthen your financial decision-making for entrepreneurial and strategic ventures, supporting the Strategic Company Project and your broader leadership development.
