Trinity Executive MBA

Programme Highlights

The part-time Executive MBA at Trinity Business School is designed for experienced professionals seeking to progress into senior leadership roles. Structured to fit alongside a full-time career, the programme combines rigorous academic learning with practical application, peer learning and exposure to diverse perspectives and experiences.

The programme develops the knowledge and capabilities required to navigate increasingly complex business environments. Students strengthen their strategic thinking and decision-making, broaden their understanding of business across functions and geographies, and draw on their learning to address contemporary organisational challenges. Live company projects and other applied learning opportunities enable participants to integrate knowledge from across the MBA with their own professional experience and put that learning into practice.

Alongside a strong foundation in business and strategy, the Executive MBA places particular emphasis on leadership development, technological change and responsible management. Participants develop greater self-awareness, resilience and leadership capability while building the practical fluency to evaluate and lead the responsible adoption of AI and emerging technologies. Sustainability, ethics and long-term value creation are integrated throughout the programme, preparing graduates to lead change and create lasting value for their organisations and wider society.

A Flexible, High-Impact Commitment

Delivered part-time over two years, the Trinity Executive MBA is designed so students can balance academic learning with their professional responsibilities. Classes take place two evenings a week, with additional sessions on selected Saturdays.

Leadership Development

Leadership development is a core part of the curriculum, delivered through dedicated modules that focus on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and practical leadership skills. These modules are designed to help students become authentic and effective leaders.

Throughout the MBA, students also hear from industry speakers on key leadership topics, including resilience, building high-performing teams, navigating personal change, and understanding group dynamics.

Live Company Projects

Applied learning is a key feature of the Executive MBA programme. All students complete a Strategic Company Project and may choose up to two additional live projects as electives: the Social Enterprise Project and the Scaling Project. Working directly with partner organisations, these consulting projects enable students to integrate academic learning with professional practice, applying knowledge and insights from across the MBA programme to complex business challenges. In doing so, students gain hands-on managerial experience while developing practical, strategic and actionable solutions for their partner organisations.
