Dr Tanya Suárez is the founder and CEO of IoT Tribe, an equity-free accelerator for startups, headquartered in London with offices in Singapore. Additionally, she leads BluSpecs, a strategic advisory firm that operates at the nexus of technology, business, and policy. With over two decades of experience, Dr Suárez specialises in tech strategy, venture building, and the exploration of new tech markets.
A seasoned contributor to ecosystem events, Dr Suárez has delivered keynotes and moderated panels for renowned platforms including The Economist, the AI Summit, and the Global IoT & Edge Summit.
She holds positions on several boards, such as Capital Enterprise—a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering founders from diverse backgrounds to create a fairer and more equitable innovation ecosystem—and is a governing board member of the Quantum Industry Consortium. She previously served on the board of the Alliance of Cloud, Edge, and IoT Innovation (AIOTI), an industry body that champions the Cloud to Edge IoT ecosystem in Europe, where she continues to provide strategic guidance.
Since 2018, Dr Suárez has served as a jury member for the European Innovation Council (EIC), which provides up to €3 million in non-dilutive funding and up to €15 million to transformative startups and SMEs across the UK, Europe, Israel, and Turkey.
Dr Suárez is recognised as a WEF European Digital Leader and is an active member of Tech London Advocates, Tech Quantum Advocates, and Tech Spain Advocates.
