Hugh Mackeown

Biography

Hugh Mackeown is one of Ireland’s most successful business people. During his 45 year tenure with the Musgrave Group he transformed his family’s business from a provincial operation into Ireland’s leading supplier of food through a combination of wholesale, retail and catering channels, supporting 40,000 jobs. He joined Musgrave Brothers after completing a degree in history and political science at Trinity College, Dublin. Hugh retired from the Chairmanship of Musgrave Group plc in 2010.
