The Gaelic Players Association and Trinity Business School are delighted to announce that we are now accepting applications for 3 fully funded masters at the school.
The scholarships are available across the school’s range of MSc Programmes and MBA programmes and GPA members are asked to review the programmes as soon as possible and set about getting the application process underway. We encourage players to apply as soon as possible before the deadline of 30 June as places are filling up fast. All Trinity Business School programmes are subject to early closure.
Interested GPA members must email Eoghan O’Sullivan, MBA Admissions Manager at Trinity Business School – eoghan.osullivan@tcd.ie - with their programme of interest along with their CV or LinkedIn profile to determine their eligibility for the respective programme.
Those deemed eligible will then proceed to apply and be offered a place by June 30th. A shortlist of candidates will then be considered for Trinity Business School/GPA scholarships with the successful GPA members being announced on July 31st.
When asked about the GPA-MBA Scholarships, Incoming Dean of Trinity Business School Laurent Muzellec said: “Trinity Business School is delighted to continue our partnership with the Gaelic Players Association Scholarship for three fully funded Master’s programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year. As the largest amateur sporting organisation in the world, the GAA is an integral part of Irish life. Here at Trinity Business School, we recognise the unique contribution that GAA athletes bring from the pitch to the classroom, especially in terms of their tenacity, strategic thinking and leadership. We are committed to helping these athletes prepare for their professional careers.”
Kerry’s Paul Murphy was chosen as one of the successful applicants last year. He had this to say to those thinking about applying in 2023; “I would wholeheartedly recommend the GPA-MBA scholarship at Trinity. The full scholarship offered to GPA members gives you an unbelievable opportunity to develop yourself professionally in a highly-coveted course without the financial burden that would normally be associated with it. The course is also structured in a way that allows you to work around existing commitments, and usefully removes commuting times and distances as a potential barrier.”
