Trinity student wins Inclusivity Partnership Award
This week, Children’s Books Ireland and the School of English announced the recipient of the 2023 Inclusivity Partnership Award. The partnership enables researchers to work closely with experts in the area of children’s books to investigate key issues in contemporary publishing for young readers. The recipient, Linde Vergeylen, is a student from the M.Phil programme in Children’s Literature at the School of English, Trinity. Under the supervision of Dr Pádraic Whyte, she will lead an investigation into the representation of disabilities in Young Adult verse novels.

The Trinity Sport Awards took place recently at the Royal Marine Hotel where eleven awards and the Pinks ceremony were announced. The annual awards are open to all sport clubs where the extraordinary commitment made by the sporting community at Trinity is acknowledged every year.

Bridge to College Leadership Project 2023: Sustainability
Bridge to College is one of Trinity Access Programme’s initiatives which aims to help Transition Year students develop key skills and give them the experience they need to advance and thrive in third level education. Over 370 students from mainly DEIS schools are represented in this years showcase and have worked in teams to complete the student-led and managed leadership project on sustainability.

Trinity Men’s Basketball Team Complete a Sensational Season
Trinity Men’s Basketball team completed a sensational season, winning the Division Two Basketball Ireland League final, guaranteeing them promotion to division one next year, and more recently winning the Basketball Intervarsity’s Title at University of Limerick.
