Overview
This symposium will explore the rich and complex relationship between stained glass and the Bible.
For centuries, stained glass has served as a luminous medium through which biblical narratives have been interpreted, transmitted, and experienced. From medieval cathedrals to contemporary installations, these glowing windows have shaped theological understanding, communal worship, and artistic expression. This symposium will examine the diverse ways in which stained glass and biblical traditions and the study of them intersect, inform, and illuminate one another.
