The Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation (TCLCT) Spanish translation slam is kindly supported by the Instituto Cervantes Dublin.
Translators Isabel Adey and Michael McCaffrey will be comparing and discussing their translations of a passage from 'Suicidios ejemplares' (Exemplary Suicides), a collection of short stories by Enrique Vila-Matas, one of Spain's leading contemporary novelists. No specific knowledge of Spanish is required to enjoy this event.
